Why it works: Lumpini Park, rooftop bars and the business district. Great if one of you works there.

Cheaper, or busier
1BR · 11,000–16,000 THB/mo
Why it works: The lowest rents, so more money for going out.
Watch out: Fewer evening spots nearby, so most nights out mean a ride.
1BR · 22,000–35,000 THB/mo
Why it works: Easy to get anywhere from here, by BTS or MRT.
Watch out: Loud and busy, and it feels more like a place to pass through than a place to live.
This list is not for you if…
→ You are moving with young children. See the family list instead.
→ One of you commutes to an office far from the BTS. Start from that commute.

Questions
Yes. Live one soi away from the bars, or in a building set back from the main road. The difference inside the room can be huge — it is one of the things I check on the walk.
Find the BTS or MRT line that connects both offices and live in the middle. Tell me where you both work and I'll suggest two or three areas.
If you go out several nights a week, often yes — you save on rides and time. If you mostly stay in, Phra Khanong gives you a similar feel for less.
